About us

Respirit Healthcare is a Guwahati based medtech company incorporated in 2021. We run Breathe Superspeciality Clinic at Khanapara, and we develop a portable respiratory diagnostic device. The company is funded by government research grants and early-stage institutional investors, and is incubated at IIT Guwahati and STPI.

What you will do

Books and reconciliation

- Maintain all books of account in Zoho Books — sales, purchases, journals, ledgers

- Daily bank reconciliation across all company accounts

- Daily cash reconciliation against front-desk collection records and deposit slips

- Debtor and creditor reconciliation; follow up on outstanding vendor and patient balances

- Month-end close: schedules, P&L;, balance sheet, and a monthly MIS pack for the founder

Statutory compliance

- GST — GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing, 2B reconciliation, input credit tracking

- TDS — deduction, monthly deposit, and quarterly returns (24Q and 26Q)

- Payroll — salary processing, EPF and ESIC computation, challans and returns

- Professional tax and other state statutory filings

- Coordination with our CA for audit, ROC filings, and income tax

Grant fund accounting

- Keep grant funds separate from clinic revenue, in accounts and in ledgers

- Tag every grant expense to its sanctioned head at the time of entry, not at year-end

- Maintain running utilisation statements for each funder

- Prepare documentation for utilisation certificates and funder audits

Controls





- Operate and enforce the cash handling process — two-person count, independent recording, daily banking

- Check vendor bills and payment vouchers before payments are released

- Maintain a clean, filed document trail that an auditor or an investor can be walked through

- Raise anything that does not look right, directly and early

What we need from you

Essential

- B.Com or equivalent. CA Inter, CMA Inter , MBA (Finance) M.Com is a plus;

- 3–6 years of hands-on accounting.

Experience in a CA firm counts fully.

- You have personally maintained books — not assisted someone who did.

- You have personally filed GST returns and know the due dates without looking them up.

- Working knowledge of TDS sections and rates for skilled fees and rent.

- Tally Prime or Zoho Books. If you are on Tally, we will give you time to learn Zoho — the logic is the same.

- Excel that you actually use: lookups, pivots, filters. This will be tested.

- Guwahati resident, or willing to relocate permanently.

Strongly preferred

- Experience handling daily cash collections and the controls around them

- EPF and ESIC filing experience

- Exposure to grants, project accounting, or restricted funds

- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or a business with high daily transaction volume

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
