About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Accounts Executive (CA Intermediate) with specialized experience or a strong understanding of accounting within the Logistics &

- Freight Forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, regulatory compliances (GST/TDS), freight billing, vendor ledger reconciliations, and support period-end financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Industry Accounting Operations: Handle day-to-day accounting, freight billing, ocean/air freight invoice verification, shipping line payouts, and customs charges.

- Accounts Payable &
- Receivable:

Monitor vendor payments, manage overseas agent settlements, track outstanding customer payments, and minimize aging debt.

- Taxation &

- Compliance:

Ensure timely calculation, filing, and payment of GST, TDS, and TCS returns as per Indian tax laws.

- Reconciliations: Perform regular Bank Reconciliations (BRS), Vendor/Client statement reconciliations,



and inter-branch adjustments.

- Audit &

- Reporting:

Prepare Trial Balance, Profit &
- Loss accounts, Balance Sheet schedules, and assist external auditors during internal/statutory audits.

- Software Proficiency: Record transactions in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally/CargoWise or industry-specific logistics software).

Desired Candidate Profile

- Must have cleared CA Intermediate (Group 1 / Group 2 or Both).

- 25 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain companies.

- Strong knowledge of GST regulations (specifically export/import GST, LUT, and zero-rated supply rules).

- Hands-on expertise in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.

- Excellent communication and numerical analytical skills.
