Role Description This full-time, on-site Academic Counsellor / Course Advisor (Telecalling) role is based in Coimbatore. The role involves engaging with prospective and current learners via phone and other communication channels to understand their academic goals and recommend suitable courses or training programs.

The Academic

Counsellor will explain course structures, outcomes, and career paths, while addressing queries and providing clear information about admission procedures, fees, and schedules. Daily responsibilities include maintaining counseling records, following up with leads,



supporting enrollments, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a positive, learner-focused experience.

Qualifications

Counseling skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to guide learners toward suitable educational and career pathways.

Academic support skills in Academic Advising and Education, including familiarity with training programs and learning outcomes.

Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective telecalling, explanation of courses, and relationship building.

Comfort with phone-based outreach, follow-up, and basic CRM or lead management tools.

Ability to listen actively, empathize with learners, and provide clear, unbiased guidance.

Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries and meet enrollment targets.

Prior experience in counseling, education, or training services is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;

education or counseling-related qualifications are preferred.
