Job Summary

Avyana Studios Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and skilled 3D Generalist specializing in Rigging and Lighting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience using Blender and Autodesk Maya to create production-ready rigs and visually appealing lighting setups for animation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality character and prop rigs in Blender and Autodesk Maya.
- Perform skinning, weight painting, and deformation corrections.
- Build IK/FK systems, facial rigs, and custom rig controls.
- Set up lighting for characters, environments, and animation shots.
- Optimize scenes for efficient rendering while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with modeling, animation, and production teams.
- Troubleshoot rigging and lighting issues throughout production.
- Follow studio pipelines and maintain organized project files.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in Blender and Autodesk Maya.
- Strong understanding of character rigging, skinning, and weight painting.




- Experience creating production-ready rigs.
- Good knowledge of lighting principles and rendering workflows.
- Understanding of animation principles and production pipelines.
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in the animation or gaming industry.
- Knowledge of Python or MEL scripting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with rendering engines such as Arnold, Cycles, or Eevee.
- Experience working on animated films, games, or commercial projects is a plus.
