Role Objective: Achieve and exceed sales targets in the assigned territory by implementing effective sales strategies to create a positive image of USV among customers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management
- Achieve and exceed assigned targets (AO) by generating recent prescriptions & maintaining RCPA
- Undertake corrective actions to bridge any gaps ensuring timely escalation in field efforts and strategy execution
- Analyse sales data across products, services, and customers using available dashboards
- Leverage digital tools and collaborate with the Area Business Manager to integrate insights into sales planning
- Update SVL/CVL to ensure all SVL HCPs are reached according to the assigned frequency
- Update MTP/STP and prepare day wise coverage plan
- Follow up with HCPs to achieve desired outcomes for incremental business from both in-clinic and out-clinic activities
- Ensure conversion of non-core HCPs
- Participate in JFW sessions, review and cycle meetings
- Submit timely reports in adherence to compliance requirements
Supply Chain Management
- Conduct retail chemist prescription audits, monitor business returns through networking and update relevant records
- Coordinate with stockists by ensuring sufficient stock is available as per demand
- Ensure liquidation of near-expiry products by managing stock effectively
People and Culture
- Demonstrate Credo values and behaviours to build trust and credibility with customers & colleagues
- Participate in Learning and Development programmes
STAKEHOLDER INTERACTION
Type of Interaction: Internal
Interaction with: Area Business Manager, Regional Business Manager, Zonal Business Manager, Marketing
Nature of Interaction: Routine communication in connection with specified tasks and handling escalations from accounts. Communication requiring some level of diplomacy, coordination, synergy and sensitisation on IR matters
Type of Interaction: External
Interaction with: Healthcare Professionals / Carry and Forward Agents / Stockist / Chemists/ Other Stakeholders (Paramedics, Purchase Officers/Head Nurse- Team Specific)
Nature of Interaction: Influence customers through detailed technical explanations of products
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience and Relevant Skills
- Must have minimum two years of experience in Pharma sales
- Must possess excellent communication, negotiation, time management, interpersonal skills, proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools, a basic understanding of sales and marketing principles, adaptability and resilience to changing market conditions
