Position: Structural Steel AutoCAD Draftsman

Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Industry: Engineering & Construction

Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad.

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Salary: Rs. 30,000/- to 40,000/-

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed Structural Steel Fabrication, Erection, and General Arrangement (GA) Drawings.

Develop Shop Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Connection Details, and Erection Sequence Drawings.

Prepare detailed drawings for: Atrium Skylights, Car Parking Structures, Domes

Prepare bolt, weld, and steel connection detailing as per design requirements.

Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), Material Take-offs, and Steel Quantity Reports. Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Project Teams. Incorporate client comments and site modifications into drawings.

Ensure compliance with IS Codes, project specifications, and industry standards.

Maintain drawing revision records and project documentation.





Desired Skills & Qualifications: Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Strong experience in Structural Steel Drafting & Detailing.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), and Sketchup Software.

Sound knowledge of Fabrication Drawings, Erection Drawings, Shop Drawings, and GA Drawings.

Experience in PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) or Tensile Structure Projects will be an added advantage.

Good understanding of steel connections, welding, and bolting details.

Experience in preparing BOMs and Material Quantity Reports. Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
