Key Responsibilities1.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Monthly Closing: Oversee the timely closing of monthly accounts and prepare accurate Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Hospitality Metrics: Track, analyze, and report on key hotel performance indicators, including Occupancy Rate, Average Room Rate (ARR), and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
- MIS Reporting: Present monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to corporate stakeholders, highlighting budget variances and operational efficiencies.
2. Cost Control & Inventory Management
- Operational Costs: Partner with the Food & Beverage (F&B;) and Procurement teams to monitor daily food, beverage, and operating supply costs.
- Audits: Conduct regular, unannounced stock verifications and audits of high-value inventory items to minimize wastage and pilferage.
- Vendor Management: Review and authorize vendor payments, ensuring adherence to credit periods and contractual terms.
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow
- Annual Budget: Lead the annual operational and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgeting process alongside department heads.
- Rolling Forecasts: Prepare monthly and quarterly rolling revenue and expense forecasts based on current market trends and booking pace.
- Working Capital: Manage daily cash flows,
credit control limits, and accounts receivable collections to maintain healthy working capital.
4. Internal Controls & Operations
- Night Audit: Verify daily night audit reports, PMS-to-accounting ledger reconciliations, and credit card settlement files.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between the Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and central Accounting ERP.
- Cash Handling: Enforce strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cash handling, front office protected drops, and petty cash disbursements.
5. Compliance & Taxation
- Tax Filings: Ensure timely and accurate filing of local statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and corporate taxes.
- Licensing: Maintain valid commercial and hospitality licenses required by local municipal and tourism bodies.
- External Audits: Serve as the primary point of contact for external financial and statutory auditors.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
