Job Summary:

MG Cafe is looking for experienced and customer-focused Shift Managers to oversee daily café operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in the café, restaurant, QSR, or hospitality industry and possess robust leadership skills to manage the team efficiently during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the café during assigned shifts.
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and service standards are maintained.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, shift scheduling, and productivity.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with the store team.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety, and health & safety standards.




- Prepare daily sales reports, shift closing reports, and operational checklists.
- Train new employees and support continuous team development.

Requirements:

- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Shift Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Captain, or Team Leader in a café, restaurant, hotel, or QSR.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic MS Excel.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
