- Manage data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake with a focus on data quality and performance.
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, following best industry practices.
- Build and maintain data models in dbt including staging, intermediate, and mart layers to support reliable, reusable analytics.
- Optimize data pipelines and queries, leveraging techniques such as clustering, partitioning, and query profiling.
Required Skills:
- SQL Proficiency: Solid hands-on experience with SQL for querying, manipulation, and complex transformations.
- dbt:
Proven experience in using dbt for building data models, managing transformations, and creating views.
- Snowflake: Solid knowledge of Snowflake features and architecture, including performance optimization.
- Data Modeling: Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schema, and modeling best practices.
- ETL/ELT: Experience designing and implementing ELT/ETL processes.
- Orchestration Tools: Familiarity with tools like Airflow or dbt Cloud for job orchestration and scheduling.
