Core Responsibilities

- Record management: Create, update, and maintain patient medical records (both physical and electronic)
- Documentation review: Check records for completeness, accuracy, and proper signatures from doctors
- Coding and indexing: Assign standard codes for diagnoses and procedures (basic exposure to Medical Coding)
- Record retrieval: Provide records to authorized doctors, departments, or patients when requested
- Filing and archiving: Organize and store records systematically for easy access and long-term preservation
- Confidentiality: Ensure patient data privacy and prevent unauthorized access

Administrative & Compliance Duties

- Follow legal and hospital guidelines for record retention and release




- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as those set by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers
- Maintain registers, logs, and audit reports for record usage
- Support medico-legal cases by providing accurate documentation when required

Key Skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Organizational and record-keeping skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Understanding of confidentiality and ethics

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
