A PGT Biology teacher teaches Class 11 & 12 students, covering advanced topics in Botany and Zoology. The aim is to build strong conceptual understanding and prepare students for board exams and competitive exams (like NEET).

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Classroom Management

Teach topics like cell biology, genetics, human physiology, plant physiology, ecology, and biotechnology

Explain concepts using diagrams, models, and real-life examples

Maintain an engaging and disciplined classroom

2. Lesson Planning

Prepare detailed lesson plans as per CBSE/ICSE/State syllabus

Use charts, diagrams, and presentations

Complete syllabus on time with proper revision

3. Practical & Lab Work

Conduct biology practicals (microscope work, slides, experiments)

Guide students in lab activities and record work

Ensure lab safety and proper usage of equipment

4. Student Assessment





Conduct tests, assignments, and practical exams

Evaluate answer sheets and provide feedback

Track student performance and improvement

5. Exam & Competitive Preparation

Prepare students for Class 12 board exams

Help students with NEET preparation basics

Solve previous year questions and MCQs

6. Use of Technology

Use smart boards, animations, and videos

Provide digital notes and diagrams

7. Administrative Duties

Maintain attendance and academic records

Prepare report cards and results

Participate in meetings, PTMs, and school events
