Job Title: Backend Engineer

Experience: 2-3 yrs

Location: Current Delhi (Punjabi Bagh) CTC : 8 lpaWorking day and Hours : 2 & 4 Saturday off / 10 am to 7pm

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Designing and managing backend processes for application data handling and storage
- Integrating with external platforms and third-party APIs to enable seamless data exchange
- Ensuring accurate data synchronization and updates across multiple systems
- Developing workflows to support reporting and operational requirements
- Building, scheduling, and maintaining background jobs and automation processes
- The role requires hands-on experience in API development, database management, system integrations, and troubleshooting production issues, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

What You’ll Work On Backend Development

- Build and maintain REST APIs using Python (FastAPI)
- Work across modules like orders, shipping, billing, and inventory
- Write clean, maintainable service-layer code
- Database & Data
- Write and optimize MySQL queries
- Work with operational and reporting data

API Integrations

- Integrate with external systems (carriers, marketplaces, accounting tools)
- Handle authentication (OAuth, API keys)
- Debug webhook failures and data sync issues

Background Jobs & Automation

- Develop cron jobs and async workflows
- Handle inventory sync, tracking updates, billing calculations
- Ensure reliability of recurring processes

Debugging & Production Support

- Investigate issues across APIs,



databases, and services
- Read logs, trace root causes, and implement fixes
- Work with systems that have real-time dependencies

Tech Stack

- Python, FastAPI
- MySQL (AWS RDS)

- AWS (S3, RDS, ECS/EC2, CloudWatch)
- Docker + GitHub Actions

Must-Have Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python with 2–3 years of hands-on experience
- Experience in designing, developing, and working with RESTful APIs
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization and data handling
- Experience in integrating and consuming external APIs
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git (branching strategies and pull request workflows)

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Familiarity with Redis for caching and queue management
- Basic understanding of AWS services such as S3, RDS, ECS, and EC2
- Experience with Docker, particularly in running and managing containers locally
- Exposure to:
- E-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, or NetSuite
- Logistics and shipping systems
- Accounting tools like QuickBooks
