Job Summary

Provide SAP BASIS expertise for AD initiatives, release readiness and technical change execution while ensuring SAP landscape performance, stability and operational handover.
SAP technical landscape, performance, system monitoring, transport/release management, upgrades/patching, Solution Manager alerts, DR readiness, on-prem SAP with EWM on Azure and SuccessFactors Cloud Connector integration.

Key Responsibilities

Support AD projects and enhancements by preparing SAP environments, clients, transports, technical cutover plans and release deployment readiness.

Manage SAP system landscape activities including transport management, kernel/patch coordination, system refresh support, technical validation and performance checks.

Monitor SAP application servers, work processes, batch jobs, dumps, spool, qRFC/tRFC, ICF services, outbound email and system availability during change windows.

Troubleshoot BASIS issues affecting projects, releases or integrations, including interface availability, background job failures, performance degradation and connectivity problems.

Coordinate with infrastructure, security, developers, functional teams and external platform teams for planned maintenance, system changes and incident recovery.

Support release governance for high-impact and continuous-improvement releases, including technical approvals and emergency change procedures where applicable.

Maintain Solution Manager monitoring, alerting, technical documentation, landscape diagrams,



operational runbooks and handover notes.

Contribute to disaster-recovery readiness, backup/restore validation, access/connectivity setup and annual DR test preparation as required.

Support automation use cases for SAP health checks, kernel upgrade checks, system availability, license checks, performance checks, dumps and batch errors.

Provide on-call support for P1 incidents where BASIS stability, access/connectivity or technical operations are part of the resolution path.
