Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium-based automation, API testing, and automation framework development using Java. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality through robust automated testing strategies and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured.
- Validate REST APIs for functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, test estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices across the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills

- 7–10 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Strong experience in Rest Assured for API automation testing.




- Solid understanding of REST API concepts and web services testing.
- Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of test execution, reporting, and defect management tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of test reporting frameworks and automation best practices.
- Exposure to cloud environments and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
