Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer (Civil) to prepare accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for civil construction projects. The successful candidate will review tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, and support the tendering process from enquiry to bid submission.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, infrastructure, industrial, and EPC projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings using estimation software and manual methods.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents in accordance with client requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and project teams during the bidding process.
- Develop material, equipment, labour, and subcontract cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings when required.
- Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and value engineering opportunities.




- Maintain an updated cost database and historical pricing records.
- Ensure estimates comply with company procedures and client specifications.
- Support post-award handover to project execution teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in civil estimation, preferably in EPC, oil & gas, industrial, infrastructure, or commercial construction projects.
- Experience in the GCC, particularly Oman, is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and estimation practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, CostX, Candy CCS, or similar estimation software is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and tendering procedures is preferred.
- Knowledge of Oman market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
