Qualification : MBA ( Preferably with International Business) / LLB

Experience : 20+ years of experience in Manufacturing domain (Through knowledge in Customs, GST, SEZ, MOOWR, FTP and International Trades Rules, Regulations & procedures

Location : Cochin

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure compliance with Customs, GST, SEZ, MOOWR, DGFT, Foreign Trade, and Central Excise regulations through timely filings, duty payments, and adherence to statutory requirements.

- Manage and maximize advantages under government schemes such as IGCRD, RoDTEP, and SPECS, while submitting policy recommendations and budget proposals to support business growth.

- Monitor changes in trade laws, customs notifications, and tariff regulations, ensuring timely implementation and advising management on regulatory impacts and risk mitigation.

- Provide expert guidance on HSN classification, duty exemptions, import/export regulations,



and precious metals compliance (e.g., gold and palladium).

- Liaise with government authorities, handle statutory audits, respond to notices, and manage litigation, appeals, and legal matters related to indirect taxation and trade compliance.

- Develop and improve systems, processes, and ERP configurations to ensure efficient import/export, GST, DGFT, and bonded warehouse operations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize duty benefits, review raw material eligibility under IGCRD, and maintain compliance records.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities, drive incentive claims, and contribute to the organization's operational efficiency and business growth.
