Experience & Skills
- 3 Years as a Seismologist / Geophysicist
- Performance in Ms Office, Surfer, Uphole / LVL Interpretation software and survey design software OMNI, MESA etc.
- Valuable communication skills, Management skills and Inter personal skills.
Responsibilities / KRA's
- QC post plots received from survey
- Evaluate acquisition attributes
- Briefing on plan to all concerned
- Verify the results of ground equipment tests
- Provide the recording crew with script files
- Onsite real time QC of seismic records (during recording)
- Receive all seismic data, OB logs , Shooters DPR, Output SPS, daily test files from recording division
- Prepare the near surface model
- Preparation of crew DPR
- Final SPS preparation
- Check the geometry of recorded data.
- Prepare contract deliverables for submission to client
- Send the Final Qced data to the Head Office.
