Job Overview
We are looking for a Firmware Development Engineer with hands on experience in embedded software development for real-time microcontroller-based systems. The candidate should have strong knowledge of microcontrollers, peripheral driver development, industrial communication protocols, and hardware-software integration.
Technical Responsibilities
Microcontroller and System Architecture
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware on TI C2000 MCU families (F28001x/F2837x/F28003x series).
- Configure system resources using TI SysConfig.
- Understand MCU boot modes, clock configuration, interrupt architecture, memory mapping, and linker command files.
- Work with Flash and RAM-based applications, bootloaders,
and firmware update mechanisms.
Driver Development and Peripheral Handling
GPIO, Interrupt Controller (PIE) ,Timers ,SPI ,I2C ,SCI/UART, PWM or ePWM ,ADC ,DAC ,CAN/CAN-FD, DMA ,Watchdog Timer
Responsibilities include:
- Peripheral initialization and configuration.
- Interrupt driven and polling-based implementations.
- Peripheral performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Communication Protocols = CAN 2.0 / CAN-FD ,Modbus RTU etc.
Firmware Debugging and Validation = Analyse system behaviour using: Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer ,CAN Analyzer ,Multi-meter .
· Required Technical Skills
Embedded Software, TI Ecosystem, Communication Interfaces
Hardware Knowledge (Analog & Digital Cirutry)
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, or related discipline.
