Role and responsibilities
 Automation engineer with 5+ years of progressive experience in modem software quality assurance, focused specifically on automation development for NTN/IMS/NR/LTE testing
 Independently develop and deploy automated test scripts via frameworks like Google LTP
 Extend automation coverage by studying the existing test plan,



identifying candidate test cases for automation and designing and deploying automated test scripts.
 Debug failures in automated test scripts through thorough regression testing and drive the process of baselining them.
 Exceptional working knowledge of test equipment platforms such as R&S;, Keysight, Anritsu and Amarisoft.
 Strong root cause analysis skills to isolate test script/equipment failures and independent collaboration with test equipment vendors for their resolution.
 Strong route cause analysis skills to isolate and triage suspected UE modem software defects using tools such as ShannonDM/QXDM/ELT. Collaborate with development teams for deeper analysis of failures and facilitate their resolution.
 Flexible, adaptable and open to working 24*7 shifts including morning, evening and night shift
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Mandatory Skill Sets
 Bachelor's degree or higher in telecommunications/electronics/electrical/computer science engineering with 5+ years of experience in modem quality assurance and test automation development
 Excellent knowledge in working with Python, Android Framework and Java for test case automation
 Proven expertise in working with frameworks such as Google LTP and Mobly
 In-depth understanding of mobile wireless concepts based on 3GPP protocols and standards, and thorough knowledge of IMS, NR and LTE call flows.
 Hands-on exposure to NTN technology and feature validation using test equipment platforms such as R&S;/Keysight/Anritsu and/or satellite emulation test beds.
 In-depth understanding of 3GPP Rel17/18 NTN specifications and carrier acceptance/certification requirements for NA carriers such as Verizon and T-Mobile.
 Exceptional knowledge of working with test equipment platforms like R&S;, Keysight, Anritsu and Amarisoft for test case development, automation and execution.
 Extensive working experience with UE modem logging tools such as ShannonDM, QXDM, ELT etc
