About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase Manager to join our operations at our Jaipur Headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement activities critical to our mining and mineral processing operations. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of mining equipment, spares, and consumables, coupled with solid negotiation and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for spares, consumables, machinery, and services required for daily mining and mineral processing operations.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing costs.
- Vendor Development & Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Expertise in vendor development, building long-term relationships, and establishing alternate sources to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization:
- Utilize excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and improve overall procurement efficiency without compromising on quality or safety standards.
- Inventory & Operations Coordination:
- Work closely with site operations,



maintenance, and stores to forecast requirements and maintain optimum inventory levels, avoiding disruptions in mining operations.
- Systems & Reporting:
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to our internal ERP systems for purchase order creation, tracking, and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
- Utilize good knowledge of MS Excel to analyze procurement data, prepare MIS reports, and present cost-benefit analyses to management.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum Experience: 3 Years
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, specifically within the mining, mineral processing, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- In-depth familiarity with various spares and consumables relevant to mining equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, crushers, screens) and mineral processing plants.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in vendor development and strategic sourcing.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Previous experience with ERP/SAP systems is highly preferred, along with a demonstrated willingness to learn new software platforms quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Working Conditions

- This position requires daily reporting to our Headquarters located in Jaipur.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
