Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

1) To effectively monitor and control Pollution Control Activities as per TNPCB / CPCB norms / requirement

2) To effectively implement and monitor the activities pertaining to ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 in the organisation

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

lEffectively monitor and control Pollution Control Activities as per various norms and requirements to ensure compliance

lTo plan the budget and run the plant cost effectively and prepare & submit the annual report like Form 3,4,5,9 & 13 etc to TNPCB as per the norms.

lEnsure internal customer satisfaction through timely and efficient processes for EOHS and pollution control

lTo effectively monitor and control Effluent Treatment Plant Operation & Maintenance to meet TNPCB / CPCB & Ministry of Environment and Forest standards.

lTo Liaison & Corresponding with TNPCB officials, Air, Water, Waste Water Testing & Recording to meet TNPCB / CPCB & ISO 14001 requirements

lResponsible for ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 activities - EOHS System Development, Implementation & Auditing

lTo effectively monitor Pollution Control Development activities & minimizing waste, recycle & reuse of resources

lTo review & audit Pollution control Log books, Formats, Records to meet TNPCB/ CPCB & Ministry of Workplace / Forest requirements

lTo periodically arrange for TNPCB annual air survey & monitor through external agencies





lResponsible for disposal of Hazardous waste from our units to TNPCB authorized agents

lTo modernize & computerize ETP effluent flow details

lTo train all staff effectively on ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

lTo establish, maintain and develop a effective sludge handling system

lTo establish, maintain and develop system to record dust, noise & light inside the plant through online

lEnsure adherence to Business Excellence processes in EOHS Pollution related to Governance, Risk and Compliance

lIdentify and lead the implementation and use of the latest technologies and tools within the section

lFacilitate continuous learning and skilling across the section on essential functional and behavioural competencies

lMentoring and managing a team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

lManaging career aspirations and training needs of professionals within the section

lMonitor Sectional performance and identify areas of strengths and opportunities for development

lMonitor team metrics and objectives ensuring achievement of set targets
