Phycom Corporation, a subsidiary of Phycom, Inc (USA) is looking for a Software Developer (GoLang) to augment its team for extending US based client’s Engineering team.

Background

Phycom Corporation having an office in Ahmedabad is a counterpart of Phycom, Inc (USA). Collectively Phycom serves USA based clients in providing technology services in Data, CRMs and Product development. Many of Phcom clients don’t have their own technical team, so in those cases the Phycom team is an extension of the client's technical organization. This puts Phycom in a unique position and increases Phycom’s responsibility for providing end to end technical services.

Requirements

Phycom is seeking a candidate for their new client with expertise in GoLang development. A successful candidate for this position is expected to work with technical staff at Phycom, Phycom management in the US and US based customers. The main responsibility of this person will be to maintain and develop GoLang backend APIs designed for larger web and mobile applications. Person will also keep track of and update status of technical tasks, code repositories, builds and release of the Android application.

It is significant to have good US English communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to take responsibility. In addition,the candidate must have aptitude to learn new domains, tools and self-motivator. Since this position requires interaction with other staff members it can’t be remote. After initial training and understanding it can be hybrid.

Qualified candidate must have:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in GoLang programming running on Linux servers.




- Must have experience in microservices, Kubernetes, docker and GitHub
- Must have expertise in database like Postgres
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must have a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards other staff members and clients.
- Good in reading, writing and speaking US English.
- Flexible, willing to take responsibilities and able to work independently without much supervision
- Eager to work with clients and developers to improve overall client satisfaction.
- Experience with gRPC and Protobuf for inter-service communication
- Experience with Redis (caching)
- Experience with event-driven / message-driven systems (e.g. NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar pub-sub)
- Required daily overlap hours with US business hours (e.g. "at least X hours overlap with EST") — currently unspecified

Responsibilities

- Learn client requirements, maintain and develop GoLang code.
- Work with other developers, QA and management to verify GoLang code.
- Follow best practice to maintain code repository, unit test and application release cycle.
- Communicate with the client on issues and queries.

Nice to have

- Experience with JIRA or other task management tools
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines
- Experience deploying via Helm charts on GKE / Google Cloud
- Exposure to distributed tracing/observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Exposure to integrating LLM/AI APIs/3rd party tools or services (e.g. OpenAI) into backend services

Pay: â‚ą300,000.00 - â‚ą1,100,000.00 per year
