Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSolar System Design

- Design rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
- Prepare optimized system layouts considering available roof space and shading analysis.
- Calculate DC and AC system capacities.
- Design string configurations and inverter sizing.
- Perform energy generation calculations using industry software.

Technical Drawings

- Prepare:
- General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
- Single Line Diagram (SLD)
- Electrical Layout Drawings
- Module Layout Drawings
- Cable Routing Drawings
- Earthing Layout
- Lightning Protection Layout
- Structural Layout Coordination

Engineering Calculations

- PV system sizing.
- Inverter selection.
- Cable sizing calculations.
- Voltage drop calculations.
- Protection device selection.
- String calculations.
- Energy yield estimation.

Site Survey Support

- Analyze site survey reports.
- Review roof dimensions and structural feasibility.
- Identify shading issues.
- Recommend suitable installation methods.
- Coordinate with Site Survey Engineers.

Documentation

- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Prepare technical proposals.
- Generate customer design reports.
- Maintain project design records.
- Support project documentation for execution teams.

Coordination

- Coordinate with:
- Sales Team
- Project Team
- Procurement Team
- Installation Team
- Customers (technical clarifications)

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong knowledge of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and PV design software.
- Good understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
- Ability to interpret site survey data and prepare optimized designs.
- Robust organizational and documentation skills.
