- Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Air Export Pricing Executive to handle pricing for both Freehand or Nomination shipments. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of freight forwarding, carrier negotiations, rate procurement, and preparing competitive quotations while ensuring timely customer support.
- Key Responsibilities: Prepare competitive freight quotations for Air Export shipments.
- Handle pricing for Freehand or Nomination business.
- Obtain and negotiate freight rates with airlines, shipping lines, consolidators, overseas agents, and transport vendors.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and overseas partners for pricing requirements.
- Maintain updated rate sheets and pricing databases.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing.
- Ensure timely responses to RFQs and customer inquiries.
- Follow up on quotations and support the sales team in converting business.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline.2–5 years of experience in Air Export Pricing within the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry.
- Sound knowledge of Freehand or Nomination shipments.
- Good understanding of Incoterms, freight costing, and international shipping processes.
- Experience in negotiating rates with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
