Job Summary

We are looking for a Database Security Engineer to secure and harden our SQL Server and Azure SQL environments, and to monitor and investigate database security incidents. This role sits at the intersection of database administration and security operations, and works closely with our cloud and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and manage SQL Server security and database hardening
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and various SQL Server Agent Jobs and Optimization tools
- Monitor database security
- Implement SQL Server Auditing and access controls
- Automate security and administrative tasks using PowerShell and Azure Automation

Required Skills (Must Have)

- 5+ years of SQL Server Administration / Database Security experience
- SQL Server Security & hardening
- T-SQL and query optimization
- PowerShell scripting
- Azure Automation

Certifications
