Job Description

Vibrant Organics is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior R&D; Chemist to lead the development of innovative, high-performance, and cost-effective formulations for textile auxiliaries, laundry detergents, fabric conditioners, institutional cleaning chemicals, and industrial cleaning products.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in product formulation, raw material selection, laboratory development, product testing, troubleshooting, and commercial scale-up. The role requires close collaboration with the production, quality, and sales teams to develop products that meet customer requirements while maintaining consistent quality and competitive costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new formulations for textile and home care chemicals.
- Improve existing products for enhanced performance and cost optimization.
- Evaluate and approve new raw materials and suppliers.
- Conduct laboratory trials, stability studies, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations.
- Scale up formulations from laboratory to commercial production.
- Troubleshoot formulation, production, and product quality issues.
- Prepare formulation records, SOPs,



technical data sheets (TDS), and manufacturing procedures.
- Work closely with the production, QC, and sales teams to ensure successful product commercialization.
- Provide technical support to customers and assist in resolving product-related issues.
- Stay updated with new technologies, raw materials, and industry trends to drive product innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 5–15 years of R&D;/formulation experience in textile chemicals, detergents, or cleaning chemicals.
- Strong knowledge of surfactants (SLES, LABSA, CAPB, APG), silicone softeners, enzymes, fragrances, preservatives, and specialty additives.
- Experience in formulation development, scale-up, and product optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead product development projects.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and expertise.
