Job Title:

Quality Control (QC) Engineer

Experience:

Freshers (0–1 Year)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and a working understanding of Automation Testing using Selenium and Java. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and enterprise applications.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Validate bug fixes and perform retesting activities.
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and test reporting activities.
- Support automation testing efforts by executing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation and test evidence.

Required Technical Skills

Manual Testing

- Strong understanding of:
- Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Test Case Design Techniques
- Defect Life Cycle
- Functional Testing




- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Sanity Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Test Planning and Test Execution
- Experience in defect reporting and tracking tools.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation and testing.

Automation Testing

- Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.
- Good understanding of Java programming fundamentals.
- Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit.
- Understanding of automation frameworks and test automation concepts.
- Experience with XPath, CSS Selectors, and Web Element Locators.
- Basic knowledge of Data-Driven and Keyword-Driven Frameworks.

Educational Qualification

- B.Tech
- B.Sc (Computers)

Preferred Skills

- Internship, certification, or project experience in Software Testing.
- Knowledge of API Testing tools such as Postman is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹230,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
