Key Responsibilities

- Coordination with Lab Quality Managers to maintain accreditation, certification work as per IMS (e.g., ISO 17025/ ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), fulfill laboratory requirement as per ISO/IEC- 17025:2017 & MoEF & CC (EPA).
- Compliance to QC and support to establish QC protocol and review of crucial SOP’s to improve quality of results generated by the Labs.
- Capturing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) data to regulate TAT (Turn Around Time) & ensure quality results for customer satisfaction.
- Analyze samples in high-end equipment like ICP-MS/ ICP-OES/ GCMS P&T/ GCMS-MS/ GC-FID-ECD/ IC/ CHNS Analyzer etc.
- Preparation of project report based on analytical data reflected in Lab test reports;
- Coordination with outside testing Lab to receive test results in case subcontracting of samples;
- Maintain an annual plan for participating in Round Robin Test/ PT by the Lab and coordinate/ evaluate their performances.
- Coordination with quality manager of the Lab to organize surveillance audit and renewal audit at TSDF location.
- Instrumentation knowledge on Chromatography, Spectroscopy & Environmental Wet Chemistry & basics of Microbiology.
- Adequate knowledge on Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Interactive skill to coordinate with customer to enhance as well as improve relationship with customers.
- Ensure all laboratory safety protocols and maintain a safe working workplace.
- Maintain a training plan of Lab Technicians & impart technical training to Lab Technicians in coordination with Quality Manager of the Lab.

Qualification & Experience

- Essential: MSc.



in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Environmental Chemistry/Microbiology/ M. Tech in Industrial Chemistry/M. Tech or MSc. or M. Tech in Environment Sc.; Completed training course on Laboratory Quality Management System & Internal Audit as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- Experience: 7-8-year experience as Sr. Executive Technical in Lab Operation, thorough knowledge in instrumentation of Chromatography, Spectroscopy, Environmental Wet Chemistry & basics of Microbiology.

Key Competencies

- 7 – 8 years’ experience on analysis of toxic heavy metals/ melalloids, Volatile Organic Compounds, Semi-volatile Organic Compounds & Anions in ICP-MS/ ICP-OES, GCMS P&T;, GCMS-MS, GC-FID/ECD & IC respectively. Ability to interpret results from acquired data in the above instruments and capability development for analysis of emerging pollutant & method validation with state-of-the-art analytical instruments.
- Comprehensive Analysis (CA) & Finger Print Analysis (FPA) in defining the stabilization/ treatment pathway of industrial wastes. Adequate knowledge to maintain QA/QC protocol in day to day residue analysis and face regulatory/ client audit as and when required as per ISO/IEC 17025 (2017) guideline.
