Key Responsibilities

- Structural Analysis and Design:

- Perform structural analysis for rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations.
- Design support structures and mounting systems to ensure stability and durability.

- Site Assessment:

- Conduct structural feasibility studies and site surveys for current projects.
- Evaluate roof conditions, load-bearing capacities, and structural integrity for solar installations.

- Code Compliance:





- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations, such as IS 875, NBC, and local building codes.

- Collaboration:

- Work closely with the design and installation teams to develop optimal solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

- Documentation:

- Prepare and review structural calculation reports, drawings, and other technical documentation.
- Maintain detailed project records for quality assurance and compliance.

- Problem-Solving:

- Address and resolve structural challenges during the design and construction phases

Qualifications

- Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).

- Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the solar energy or construction sector.
- Proficiency in structural design tools like STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, or similar software.

- Skills:

- Strong understanding of structural dynamics, material strengths, and load assessments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of solar mounting systems and rooftop/ground-mount installations is a plus.
