Job Title: Finance Lead - Indirect Taxation and GST

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the GST and Indirect Taxation functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee GST returns, filings, and reconciliation, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage tax audits, assessments, and disputes, ensuring a smooth and compliant process.
- Provide strategic guidance on indirect taxation matters for the company's business operations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and proactively adjust business practices for compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize tax strategies and minimize financial risk.




- Work closely with the finance team to ensure correct accounting of indirect taxes.
- Support the preparation of tax-related financial statements and reports.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- 12+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on indirect taxation and GST.
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, especially GST, customs, and excise.
- Experience with tax audits, assessments, and resolving disputes.
- Solid analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
