Software Engineer - C#
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineering Consultant (C# Developer) to join our Medidata Service team and contribute to Customizations in C# (Custom Functions). In this role, you will work closely with team members in Pune, India, as well as colleagues in the United States, ensuring seamless collaboration.In Custom Functions, you will work on developing a code fulfill the Client requirements, Unit Testing, and code reviews.
This position is based in Pune, India.

Role Description & Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and write clear technical specifications.
- Write, test, debug, and complete programming tasks while performing in-depth code-level debugging for both self-written and team-generated code.
- Should be able to do in-depth code level debugging (of your code or someone else’s code)
- Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to standards and quality across team deliverables.
- Identify inefficiencies, propose actionable improvements, and drive process changes with strong change management and collaboration skills.
- Successfully execute independent projects and initiatives while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams when needed.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of tasks, track and resolve defects uncovered during testing, and document all procedures effectively.
- Provide regular updates on tasks and projects, escalating issues proactively to leads.
- Coordinate development activities with the onshore team, manage assigned tasks,



and follow up on clarifications with relevant stakeholders.
- Overcome obstacles, troubleshoot issues, and develop resolutions while identifying and addressing risks to deliverables.
- Records and tracks defects uncovered during the execution of tests and actively participate in resolution.
- Effectively manages multiple projects and tasks, focusing on timely implementations while adapting as priorities shift.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4-14 years of related experience, or Master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of related experience, or a PhD without experience.
- Proficient in C# and Object-Oriented programming
- Proficient in MS SQL programming language
- Proficient with MS Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient with Google product suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
- Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
- Valuable to have experience with Clinical Trial software technology.
- Good to have experience with Rave EDC
- Familiarity of Atlassian product suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with software development processes
- Familiarity with AWS, ETL, and PowerShell
- Preferred experience utilizing REST APIs




- Preferred experience working with off-site development teams.
- Preferred experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
