Job Description – Manager Marketing & Merchandising (Knitting Division)

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing preferred.

Experience

- 12–15+ years of experience in Textile Marketing & Merchandising.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role within Knitting/Fabric/Garment manufacturing.
- Robust exposure to knitted fabrics, garment manufacturing, buyer handling, and export merchandising
- Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase knitted fabric and garment sales.

Merchandising & Customer Management

- Handle complete order execution from enquiry to shipment.
- Understand buyer requirements and coordinate product development activities.
- Prepare cost sheets, quotations, and price negotiations with customers.
- Ensure timely approvals for fabric quality, lab dips, trims, and samples.




- Manage customer communications regarding order status, delivery schedules, and product specifications.

Production Coordination

- Coordinate with Knitting, Dyeing, Processing, Quality, and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor production status and ensure on-time order completion.
- Resolve production-related issues affecting delivery commitments.
- Ensure effective capacity planning based on order forecasts.
- Identify and acquire new customers in domestic and export markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, brands, agents, and sourcing offices.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Participate in trade fairs, customer meetings, and business development initiatives.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹72,000.00 per month
