Job Description

We’re looking for an English / Social Science Teacher (TGT) for our students (G- 3 to G-9) to teach as per the CBSE guidelines and help them develop intellectually, socially, and emotionally. The person should be well versed with the subject basics and the CBSE syllabus at our leading co-educational school at K.R. Puram, Bangalore. In addition the person should be patient and have good communication and fluency levels in English

Objectives Of This Role

· Teach the subject at the given grades as per the CBSE standards and the educational needs and abilities of the students

· Create a classroom culture that is welcoming, positive, and inclusive

· Plan, prepare, and teach lessons, promoting the general progress and well-being of individual students and groups of students

· Drive outstanding student achievement for all students in your subject and support colleagues in driving student achievement school-wide

· Communicate, cooperate, and consult with school staff, and parents/guardians in the students’ best interest

· Identify and groom students for various literary events like elocution, essay writing, debates etc.

Daily And Monthly Responsibilities

· Utilize a wide variety of teaching methods to create differentiated opportunities for deep understanding for all learners, including students with special needs





· Create and distribute educational supports, including reading material, activities, homework assignments, sharing lessons in a comprehensive manner, using visual/audio accompaniments to facilitate interactive learning

· Assess and evaluate student growth; creating action plans on class-wide, group-wide and individual basis in response to student data

· Assess, record, and report on development, progress, and behavior of students, issuing grades, progress reports, and report cards

· Plan and execute educational in-class, and outdoor activities and events

· Collaborate with the Learning Specialists, School Counselor, Assistant Principal, and Principal in providing students with academic and social support, and attend family/support meetings as needed

· Attend all teacher training programs, seminars and events organized by the school

Skills And Qualifications

- Excellent English language skills
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom Meetings

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate Degree
- Bachelor Of Education

Experience

- Two years of experience in Teaching

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,001.15 - ₹24,440.63 per month
