Operations Systems Administrator

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

Responsibilities:

- Server and storage architecture, installation, configuration, and performance tuning
- Remote system management (Windows, Linux)
- Routine system maintenance/troubleshooting
- Load balancer configuration and tuning
- System Automation
- Documentation and diagraming of server, network and storage infrastructure
- 24x7 on-call duties
- Travel to hosting sites for system builds and maintenance as needed
- Participate in incident reviews and problem management

Requirements (Must haves):

- Windows Administration (3-5 years)
- Linux Administration (3-5 years)




- Storage and Backup management (1-2 years)
- Large environment management (disaster recovery, multi datacenter, more than 200 servers)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCPIP, WAN, Load balancers, etc)
- Robust understanding of system administration fundamentals (SAN, RAID, NFS, DNS, Authentication)
- Configuration and provisioning management (patch management)
- Virtualization/Cloud (VMWare/Xen/AWS) (2-3 years)

Plus (Must have at least 4):

- LDAP/SAML/AD management
- DNS management
- ITIL certification/experience
- Oracle Financials/MySQL system configuration experience
- Capacity management
- Apache/IIS/Java management
- SOX/PCI management
- License/inventory management
