Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate CADENCE Trainer to deliver professional training in VLSI Design, ASIC Design Flow, and Cadence EDA Tools. The trainer will be responsible for conducting classroom and online sessions, guiding students through practical projects, and preparing them for careers in semiconductor design and verification.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom and online training on VLSI Design and Cadence EDA tools.
- Teach Digital Electronics and CMOS Fundamentals.
- Train students in Verilog HDL, SystemVerilog, and basic VHDL concepts.
- Explain the complete ASIC Design Flow from specification to GDSII.
- Conduct practical sessions using Cadence tools for schematic design, simulation, layout, and physical verification.
- Train students in RTL Design, Functional Verification, and Timing Analysis.
- Teach Static Timing Analysis (STA), Design Constraints, and Clock Tree concepts.
- Guide students in Physical Design, Floor Planning, Placement, Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), Routing, and Sign-off.
- Train students on DRC, LVS, and Physical Verification methodologies.
- Mentor students in live VLSI projects and industry case studies.
- Prepare course materials, lab manuals, assignments, and technical assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide continuous technical guidance.
- Assist students in resume preparation, mock interviews, and placement activities.
- Keep training content updated with the latest semiconductor technologies and EDA tools.
- Coordinate with the academic and placement teams to improve student outcomes.





Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Digital Electronics and CMOS Design.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence EDA Tools.
- Good understanding of ASIC Design Flow.
- Proficiency in Verilog HDL and SystemVerilog.
- Knowledge of RTL Design and Functional Verification.
- Experience in Physical Design concepts.
- Understanding of Static Timing Analysis (STA).
- Knowledge of DRC, LVS, RC Extraction, and Physical Verification.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Basic knowledge of Tcl scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- M.E./M.Tech in VLSI Design, Microelectronics, or Embedded Systems (Preferred)
- Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines

Experience

- 1–3 Years: VLSI Design,



ASIC Design, or Training Experience.
- 3+ Years: Preferred for Senior Trainer positions.
- Industrial experience in semiconductor or ASIC companies is an added advantage.
