Role Overview:

BoatCraft Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department with payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee documentation, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of payroll, labour laws, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines.
- Manage statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and other applicable deductions.
- Handle EPF and ESIC registrations, challans, monthly returns (ECR), and employee support.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, leave deductions, bonuses, incentives, and final settlements.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave records, payroll data, and HR master records.
- Prepare salary slips, payroll reports, and statutory reports.
- Ensure accurate employee documentation and maintain personnel files.
- Support recruitment,



onboarding, employee confirmations, and exit formalities.
- Coordinate with employees to resolve payroll and statutory-related queries.
- Assist the HR department in day-to-day HR operations and reporting.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA in HR preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, Payroll, or Statutory Compliance.
- Valuable knowledge of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, and applicable labour laws.
- Experience in payroll processing and salary calculations.
- Hands-on experience with EPF and ESIC portals.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HRMS/Payroll software.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in manufacturing or engineering industry HR.
- Knowledge of attendance management systems and biometric software.
- Familiarity with payroll automation tools.
