Job Responsibilities:
Design of Press Dies (Preferred software - UG NX):

- Independently handling Die Process/method planning & 3D/Solid modeling die design for press dies of automobile's Outer, Inner & HSS panels sheet metal parts as per guidelines
- Capability of designing Draw, Trim, Bend, Restrike combination press dies
- Capability of designing Cam dies with standard BOP Cams & manufactured Cams
- Capable to perform necessary checks and simulations during die design (like interference/clearance check, Scrap/motion simulation etc.)
- Capability of designing dies for Crossbar, Tandem & Transfer type presses
- Managing closure of all die design feedback with customers

Die Development support:

- Knowledge of manufacturing sequence/stages of Press Dies
- Knowledge of Die trial & quality improvement
- Knowledge of tooling materials & workshop operations practices




- Capability to identify defects & suggest countermeasure plan
- Knowledge of Trials & proving of Press Dies

Technical / Functional:

- Independently handling Process planning & solid modeling die design for press dies of automobile's Outer panels (Doors, Roof, Hood, Fender and Side Body Outer) and Inner panels (Door and High Strength Steel parts).
- Basic know how of forming CAE & Die face design, Die machining, Die assembly & trials to commissioning, sheet metal parts quality issues and countermeasures for quality maturation in die design.

Must Have Skills:

- Press Die Design experience (Cam, Bend, Restrike, Trim-Pierce, Draw Dies)
- Die Process/method plan (Die Layout & Feed Layout) making
- Die Design for Crossbar, Tandem & Transfer Presses
- Know-how of Press Die manufacturing process (Machining, assembly, trial) and Die/Panel Quality
- UG-NX software proficiency (Solid & Surface modeling)

Preferred Organization:

- 4-wheeler OEMs with Press Die Design experience: TATA, M&M;, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, VW, Renault, Nissan, MG, Eicher, Force Motors, Bajaj etc.
