Job Summary

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdown maintenance, and continuous improvement of CNC, VMC, and HMC machines. The role focuses on minimizing machine downtime, ensuring electrical system reliability, maintaining safety standards, and supporting uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, and HMC machines.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in CNC control systems, servo drives, spindle drives, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and electrical panels.
- Troubleshoot CNC systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, or other controllers.
- Maintain electrical components including motors, transformers, contactors, relays, MCBs, VFDs, SMPS, encoders, and limit switches.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, PLC wiring diagrams, and machine manuals.
- Carry out wiring, panel modifications, cable termination, and control panel maintenance.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to resolve machine issues efficiently.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules, machine history, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption.
- Ensure proper calibration and functioning of sensors,



proximity switches, encoders, and safety devices.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, relocation, and electrical upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety policies.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage critical electrical spare parts inventory and recommend procurement when required.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of CNC electrical systems and industrial automation.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
- Knowledge of servo drives, spindle drives, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, encoders, and industrial control circuits.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and TPM concepts.
- Understanding of industrial electrical safety standards.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Electrical Engineering.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
