Looking for position for one of the institutes of Symbiosis International University i.e. Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, Lavale, Pune

Hospital is 900 beds NABH Accredited, Multi-super Specialty State of the art hospital. Associated with Symbiosis Medical College for Women

Position- Medical Officer

Requirement of Qualification and experience :

MBBS Fresher

Some of key responsibilities mentioned below :

1. Patient Care & Clinical Management

- Provide continuous, day-to-day medical care to critically ill ICU patients.
- Assist Senior Consultants in diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of care.
- Conduct regular patient rounds and update treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Stabilize and manage patients admitted from Emergency Room (ER), Operation Theatre (OT), and wards.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and overall clinical progress.
- 2. ICU Procedures & Emergency Handling
- Assist in and perform basic ICU procedures including Central and peripheral line insertions, Arterial
- Blood Gas (ABG) sampling & Intubation assistance.
- Manage ventilator settings under senior supervision.
- Respond promptly to ICU emergencies and participate in Code Blue situations.
- Ensure timely escalation of critical cases to senior consultants.
- 3. Clinical Protocols & Quality Care
- Follow evidence-based practices and protocol-driven patient care.
- Adhere strictly to ICU clinical guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and hospital policies.




- Implement and monitor infection control measures.
- Ensure compliance with prevention bundles such as Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP), Central
- Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI) & Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI).
- 4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including clinical notes, orders, and consent forms.
- Ensure proper documentation of all procedures and patient interactions.
- Participate in clinical audits, data collection, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support accreditation processes such as NABH compliance and inspections.
- 5. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate effectively with nursing staff and allied healthcare professionals for seamless patient care.
- Communicate patient status, progress, and critical updates to senior consultants.
- 6. Teaching & Academic Activities
- Assist in bedside teaching and training of junior residents, interns, and nursing staff.
- Participate in academic discussions, case presentations, and ICU teaching programs.
- 7. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform duties assigned by the Senior Consultant or HOD.
- Participate in departmental meetings, mortality reviews, and clinical discussions.
- Maintain professionalism, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay is not constraint for right candidate

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
