Job Description – Cashier

Location: Bokaro
Experience Required: 2–4 Years
Qualification: B.Com Or M.Com / Graduate in any discipline

Position Overview

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier for our Bokaro location. The candidate should have strong cash handling experience, billing knowledge, and valuable communication skills. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Excel and capable of maintaining daily financial transactions accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily cash transactions, billing, and customer payments.
- Maintain proper cash balance and submit daily cash reports.
- Ensure accurate billing and invoice generation.
- Manage POS machine operations and digital payment transactions.
- Maintain records of cash receipts, refunds, and adjustments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports in Excel.
- Coordinate with accounts and store operations teams for reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Support store operations during peak business hours.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of bills and vouchers.

Required Skills





- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, basic formulas, reporting).
- Knowledge of billing software and POS systems.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
- Basic accounting and reconciliation knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.Com Or M.Com / Graduate in any discipline
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Cashier or in cash handling role.
- Experience in retail/store operations will be preferred.
- Candidate should be comfortable working in rotational shifts if required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidate from retail, apparel, jewellery, or FMCG background preferred.
- Local candidates from Bokaro or nearby locations will get preference.

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹23,000 per month (Based on experience and interview performance)
- Other benefits as per company policy.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
