RM | PM | NPD Procurement

Location: Khatraj, Kalol, Gandhinagar, Gujarat
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Nutraceutical / Pharmaceutical / FMCG Manufacturing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage end-to-end procurement of Raw Materials (RM) and Packing Materials (PM).
- Handle procurement requirements for Current Product Development (NPD), including sourcing samples and materials for trials and commercial launches.
- Identify, develop, and manage reliable vendors for RM and PM.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate price, quality, MOQ, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely material availability as per Production, PPC, and NPD requirements.
- Coordinate with R&D;, NPD, QA, QC, Production, Stores, and Finance for smooth procurement operations.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.




- Develop alternate vendors and drive cost optimization and supply continuity.

REQUIREMENTS

- Graduate in any discipline; Supply Chain / Purchase / Commerce background preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase, preferably in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Food, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in RM, PM, Vendor Development, and NPD Procurement.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, follow-up, and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase systems.
- Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
