Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team in Kanker, Chhattisgarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Record and verify all receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare vouchers and maintain proper accounting records.

2. Cash & Bank Management

- Handle petty cash and daily cash transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor bank balances.
- Process vendor and employee payments.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
- Track outstanding receivables and follow up for collections.
- Ensure timely processing of supplier payments.

4. Billing & Documentation

- Prepare invoices, purchase entries, and payment vouchers.
- Maintain bills, invoices, and supporting documents systematically.




- Verify bills before processing payments.

5. Tax & Compliance

- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Maintain financial records as per company policies.
- Support internal and external audits.

6. Reporting

- Prepare daily cash reports and monthly financial summaries.
- Generate MIS reports as required by management.
- Maintain accurate financial data and records.

Required Skills

- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based organizations will be preferred.
- Local Candidates Prefered
