Job Description (JD)Junior Engineer – Civil

Job Summary

A reputed client of Chemprocess Solutions is looking for a motivated Junior Engineer – Civil to assist in the execution, supervision, and quality control of civil construction and maintenance activities at industrial project sites. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers to ensure safe, timely, and quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in supervising civil construction and maintenance works at project sites.

Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and client representatives.

Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), site reports, and measurement records.

Verify work quantities and assist in billing and estimation activities.

Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards.

Ensure compliance with safety (HSE) procedures and proper use of PPE.





Monitor manpower deployment and resource utilization.

Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities.

Report technical issues and support senior engineers in resolving site challenges.

Maintain project documentation, drawings, and site records.

Qualification

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

0–3 years of experience in industrial construction, infrastructure, or maintenance projects.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of RCC, structural steel, foundations, masonry, and finishing works.

Ability to read civil drawings and construction layouts.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements is an added advantage.
