Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wirecut Operator to join our Production team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating and programming Wire EDM (Wirecut) machines, interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining dimensional accuracy, and ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate Wire EDM (Wirecut) machines efficiently.
- Perform machine programming and editing as per job requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
- Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material and component specifications.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary parameter adjustments to achieve the required finish and tolerance.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for major breakdowns.
- Ensure components meet quality standards before submitting them for inspection.
- Minimize material wastage and improve machining efficiency.
- Follow production schedules to achieve daily targets.
- Maintain production records and machine operation logs.
- Follow all company safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and quality management systems.





Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Wire EDM machine operation and programming.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of machining tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Experience in precision measurement and inspection.
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualification

- ITI Machinist / Tool & Die Maker / Fitter, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years and maximum 5 years of experience as a Wirecut Operator in a precision engineering, tool room, mould manufacturing, or machining workplace.

Preferred Knowledge

- Experience with Wire EDM machines such as Sodick, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Makino, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of different tool steels, carbide materials, and machining practices.
- Understanding of ISO quality standards and 5S practices.

Working Conditions

- Shift Duration: 12 Hours
- Factory-based production environment.
- Standing for extended periods and handling precision components.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
