- Design and develop PLC control logic for automation systems.
- Program PLCs using manufacturer-specific software (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal)
- Install PLC systems and integrate them with sensors, actuators, drives, and field devices.
- Perform system startup, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation equipment.
- Ensure systems meet functional specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with electricians and mechanical engineers during setup and commissioning.
- Simulate and test PLC programs before implementation.
- Diagnose and fix issues in PLC hardware or software.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and software backups.
- Update existing control systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
