About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Embedded Software Team Lead / Manager to drive our Embedded & IoT development team. You will be responsible for leading high-performance teams, architecting scalable embedded solutions, and ensuring on-time project delivery.

As a key technical leader, you will oversee the full embedded software lifecycle, including secure firmware development, RTOS-based applications, wireless connectivity (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, LTE), and AI-driven edge computing. If you are a hands-on technical leader who thrives on innovation, this role is for you!

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

Define scalable, secure, and high-performance embedded software architectures.

- Lead RTOS and bare-metal firmware development for industrial, consumer, and IoT applications.

- Oversee low-power optimizations, secure bootloaders, OTA updates, and cryptographic security.

Project Execution & Delivery

-
Manage full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to production.

- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality coding standards.

- Implement automated testing, CI/CD for embedded systems, and version control best practices.

Team Management & Mentorship

-
Lead and mentor a team of embedded engineers, fostering technical growth.

- Set engineering best practices, code review guidelines, and debugging protocols.

- Provide training on up-to-date embedded development techniques to elevate team skills.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

-
Work closely with hardware, cloud, and mobile app teams for seamless product integration.

- Define hardware-software co-design strategies to optimize performance.

- Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Innovation & Process Improvement

Drive AI-on-the-edge, TinyML, and real-time data processing in embedded devices.

- Improve firmware security, real-time performance, and compliance with industry standards.

- Stay updated on global industry trends (IoT security, LPWAN, ML inference on embedded systems, etc.).

Required Qualifications

Education:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Embedded Systems, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

- 5+ years of hands-on embedded software development.

- 2+ years in a leadership role, managing embedded software teams.

Technical Skills Required





Programming & Development

- Expert-level C/C++ programming for embedded systems.

- Hands-on experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, RT-Thread, etc.).

- Python for scripting, automation, and AI-based embedded applications.

- Experience with firmware update mechanisms (OTA), bootloaders, and encryption.

Embedded Systems & Wireless Protocols

- Microcontroller architecture expertise (ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, nRF, RP2040, STM32).

- Experience with low-power designs and real-time optimizations.

- Wireless connectivity: BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, NB-IoT, Zigbee, 5G, CAN, RS485.

- Familiarity with DSP, edge AI, and ML inference on microcontrollers (TinyML, TensorFlow Lite, Edge Impulse).

Debugging & Development Tools

- JTAG/SWD, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, and network analyzers.

- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD for embedded firmware.

- Unit testing, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and performance profiling.

Production & Deployment

- Experience in designing firmware for mass production and regulatory compliance.

- Familiarity with ISO 26262 (automotive), IEC 61508 (industrial safety), or similar standards.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

Experience with AI/ML-powered embedded systems (e.g., TinyML, Edge AI, TensorFlow Lite).
- Background in automotive, industrial automation, or medical-grade embedded systems.
- Knowledge of Secure Firmware Development (TPM, HSM, Secure Boot, and encryption).
