Security Guard

Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the client's premises, employees, visitors, equipment, and property. The guard ensures a safe and secure environment by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, preventing unauthorized entry, and responding promptly to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

- Guard and monitor the assigned premises.
- Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Verify visitor identity and maintain visitor registers.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises.
- Report suspicious activities, theft, fire hazards, or security breaches immediately.
- Operate CCTV systems and other security equipment (where applicable).
- Respond to emergencies such as fire, accidents, or medical incidents.
- Maintain discipline and follow company security procedures.
- Prepare daily occurrence reports and maintain security records.
- Coordinate with supervisors, clients, and emergency services when required.

Minimum Qualification

- Education: 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent.
- Basic reading and writing skills in the local language and/or English are preferred.

Physical Requirements

- Minimum Height:



5 feet 3 inches (160 cm)
- Physically fit and medically sound.
- Good eyesight and hearing.
- Able to stand and patrol for extended periods.

- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual and disciplined.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.

Preferred Criteria

- Prior experience as a Security Guard is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of fire safety and first aid is preferred.
- Ex-servicemen or trained security personnel will be given preference.

Working Hours

- 12-hour shifts, as per client requirements.
- Weekly off and holidays as per company policy and applicable labour laws.

Reporting To

Security Supervisor / Field Officer / Operations Manager

Salary

As per company policy, experience, client site, and applicable statutory norms.

Pay: ₹8,528.72 - ₹12,000.00 per month
