Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the finishing stage of a homestay project in Munnar. The construction is in its final phase and requires someone who can manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate trades, ensure quality finishes, and drive the project to completion on time. This is a hands-on role requiring close attention to detail and solid on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and co-ordinate all finishing works on-site - flooring, tiling, plastering, painting, woodwork, electrical & plumbing fixtures Monitor daily progress and ensure work is completed to schedule and quality standards
- Manage and direct sub-contractors, labourers, and trades on-site
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and finishing schedules
- Identify and resolve on-site issues, delays, or material shortages proactively
- Conduct daily site inspections and ensure compliance with safety norms
- Maintain site records — work logs, material consumption, attendance, snag lists
- Provide regular photo and written progress updates to the owner
- Co-ordinate delivery and storage of materials to avoid delays
- Prepare and track a snag list, ensuring all defects are closed before handover





Required Qualifications & Background
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design — OR equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 18 months of hands-on experience specifically in building finishing works (flooring, joinery, wall finishes, fixtures)
- Must have previously overseen or been closely involved in the full construction cycle of at least one building
- Prior experience supervising homestays, resorts, or hospitality construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of finishing materials, quality standards, and workmanship
- Ability to read construction drawings and finishing schedules
- Good man-management skills, able to get work done from contractors and labourers

- Malayalam essential;
- Basic English or Hindi preferred for owner communication

- Candidates with experience in Munnar, Idukki, or the broader hill-station region will be given preference
- Familiarity with local contractors and suppliers is a strong advantage
- Compensation based on experience
Accommodation: On-site housing provided

Pay: ₹15,090.01 - ₹22,000.00 per month
