Job Description

This is a full-time chance for an early-career Automation QA Engineer focused on both automation and manual testing. You will be responsible for creating maintainable automation frameworks, validating RESTful APIs, performing regression testing, and using version control to manage test artifacts. The role emphasizes pragmatic test automation, strong defect analysis, and working closely with cross-functional teams in Ahmedabad.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and chosen language/framework
- Design and execute API tests for REST endpoints and validate responses and contracts
- Perform manual and regression testing for new features and bug fixes
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or GitHub Actions)
- Write clear, reproducible defect reports and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues




- Maintain test data, test environments, and test suites in Git
- Contribute to improving test strategy, coverage, and test framework stability

Required Skills & Experience

- 2 years of professional experience in QA with automation and manual testing
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or REST-assured
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts
- Good understanding of regression testing, test case design, and defect tracking
- Basic scripting/programming skills (Java, Python, or JavaScript) and SQL
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile team
