Job Summary

The Site Supervisor (Civil – Steel) is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities related to structural steel works. This includes ensuring proper execution, safety compliance, quality standards, and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day site activities related to structural steel fabrication and erection
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow
- Monitor steel installation, welding, bolting, and alignment activities
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and site regulations
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control
- Track material usage and coordinate for timely availability
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation
- Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and manpower

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of structural steel works, fabrication, and erection




- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Understanding of safety standards and construction practices
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting tools)

Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Certification in safety (preferred)

Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in civil construction with a focus on steel structures
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred

Work Environment

- Primarily on construction sites
- May require travel or relocation depending on project location
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and extended hours if required

Reporting To

- Project Manager / Site Engineer

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
